By Michelle Mitchell Oct 1, 2020 | 6:48 PM

October 1, 2020 – Last year, students at Eisenhower were rewarded for their hard work by taking 1st place in the Community Food Drive School Challenge.  This year, with the change to monetary donations, Eisenhower is partnering with the Macon County Sheriff’s Office and Decatur Police Department to do a County vs. City competition at Eisenhower High School.  Officers from both departments will be in the circle drive of Eisenhower High School from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the day of the drive (Friday, October 2nd) and Dr. Amy Zahm, Principal of Eisenhower, will bring the donations to Kroger on Route 36.

The officers will be using buckets to help ensure that collections are contactless.
