September 19, 2020 – Macon County’s cases per 100,000 has now spiked to 165 and the positivity rate is up to 7.2%, the highest rate Macon County has seen. If the positivity rate hits 8%, Macon County could be placed on the warning list. Free testing is still available at the Civic Center parking lot from 8 a.m. to noon, Monday-Friday, through Crossing Healthcare and Illinois Department of Public Health. The State Health Department will also make a return to the Civic Center from September 18th-20th for free testing eight hours a day.
