IMA Names Decatur Business Leader to Board Of Directors

September 16, 2020 – The Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA) has named two new members to the IMA Board of Directors, including a Decatur business leader – Kara Demirjian Huss, Vice President of T/CCI Manufacturing.  Demirjian Huss earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and serves in leadership roles in the Decatur Parks Foundation as well as the Economic Development Corporation of Decatur and Macon County.

“We are grateful to these dedicated leaders for donating their time and skills to help the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association advocate for the interests of our members across the state,” said Mark Denzler, president & CEO of the IMA. “Manufacturers across Illinois will undoubtedly benefit from their innovation and creativity, and we look forward to continued success.”

Also named to the IMA Board of Directors was Sean McCarthy of Schaumburg.  McCarthy is Regional Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Initiatives at Comcast.

The Illinois Manufacturers’ Association is the only statewide association dedicated exclusively to advocating, promoting and strengthening the manufacturing sector in Illinois. The IMA is the oldest and largest state manufacturing trade association in the United States, representing nearly 4,000 companies and facilities.
