U.S. Representative Rodney Davis (R-Ill) announced today that the Department of Housing and Urban Development haw awarded another round of CARES Act funding for local public housing in Illinois’ 13th congressional district.  The amount of $1,128,834 will come through the CARES Act which Trump signed into law back in March.
The Decatur Housing Authority is set to receive $166,925 to support public housing agencies as they provide housing assistance to lower-income residents.  “Public housing authorities across the communities I represent serve some of our most vulnerable population and this supplemental funding will allow them to provide more assistance to low-income residents,” said Davis. “This is another example of the federal government supporting local communities during this crisis.”
