July 22, 2020 – Young Leaders In Action (YLIA), a youth-led initiative of The Community Foundation of Macon County and Rotary Club #180 of Decatur, will provide 150 lunches for individuals in need by hosting a “Fight Against Hunger” empowerment lunch.
Throughout this summer, YLIA leaders have been active in the community, striving to help those in need, especially those who have been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
This Friday, the group will be handing out lunches at various locations in Decatur to those in need. The lunches will be provided from 10:30 to noon outside the Northeast Community Fund, Oasis Day Center, and in Central Park in Downtown Decatur.
The effort is sponsored in part by the United Way.
