June 26th, 2020- This Saturday, Molina Healthcare will be distributing groceries to families in need, as a way to help those who may be having trouble during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

To help alleviate the financial strain many families are experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic, Molina Healthcare, Familia Dental, and Heartland Community Church are hosting a drive-up food distribution event. Each box will contain canned goods, items such as mac and cheese, cornbread, ready-made meals, mashed potatoes, and either chicken or hamburger meat.

Along with food, the boxes will include family activities.

Additionally, Heartland Community Church will provide lunch including a hot dog, chips, and water for those who attend the event drive-thru.

To adhere to the recommended social distancing, recipients must remain in their cars and the boxes will be distributed by volunteers.

The event is free and open to the public.  One box will be given to each car on a first come first serve basis while supplies last.  The event will begin at 2 pm and will be held in the parking lot at the Herald and Review.
