June 18, 2020 – Young Leaders In Action, a youth-led initiative of The Community Foundation of Macon County teamed up with Aldi yesterday to surprise senior citizen shoppers with $50 Gift Cards. Aldi holds vulnerable and high risk shopping hours for Senior Citizens on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings. YLIA members from 12 local school districts were there to greet them to hand out the cards. The group raised $5000 for the effort and Aldi donated an additional $2500 for the effort. Watch the video now!
