September 24th, 2019- Macon Resources held a ribbon cutting for their new outdoor educational and sensory area “Meaningful Meadows”. Meaningful Meadows is the first outdoor center designed for adults with developmental disabilities in the state. This inclusive and accessible space provides the clients of MRI ways promote their physical well-being, boost creativity and reduce stress and anxiety. The new addition includes basketball and pickle ball courts, a putting green, wheelchair accessible swings, and a sensory garden filled with flowers, waterfalls, splash pads, noise and music makers.
