October 11 – Officials say everyone will be okay after a woman and her two sons had to be extracted after rolling their vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
The Decatur Fire Department responded to an accident at the intersection of U.S. Rt. 36 and 27th Street Tuesday shortly before 3 p.m. There, they found an SUV had rolled over. Crews had to cut off the top of the vehicle to gain access to the occupants.
The driver was transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure. Fire officials say she had minimal scratches. Her two sons are uninjured.
