Florida Georgia Line Believe They Have “Spiritual Abilities”

Florida Georgia Line Believe They Have “Spiritual Abilities”

FGL is operating on another level!

Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley tells CMT that he and Tyler Hubbard have “spiritual” abilities. “Tyler and I both got started playing guitar and singing in church before we met back in high school. When we both graduated from Belmont University, we started helping out in church together in Lebanon, Tennessee, in 2010. Growing up with that background in spiritual music, being able to break down walls, it taught us how to connect with people on a spiritual level. People are lifting their hands, they’re crying, they’re dancing, they’re singing and it’s a magical thing. It’s something bigger than us all.”

Has Fame Changed Jason Aldean?

Has Fame Changed Jason Aldean?

Has it all gone to his head?

Jason Aldean tells Rolling Stone magazine that fame hasn’t changed him. “Yeah, I mean, I’m not a flashy kind of guy. My idea of having a good time is having my friends over, us hanging out back here watching football and acting stupid. My idea of a good time is not going to a five-star restaurant in downtown Nashville and rubbing elbows with the who’s who of Nashville, ’cause I just don’t care. That’s not fun to me. That gives me anxiety.”

What Does Luke Combs Want to Be Remembered For?

What Does Luke Combs Want to Be Remembered For?

What do you want to be remembered for?  Have you thought long and hard about it?

Luke Combs tells People Magazine that he would rather be remembered as a good person than a good singer. ““When you go home, you can’t think of yourself as a rock star, or a country star. The powers that be can push you in that direction, and it’s a dangerous thing. You can get caught up in that real quick, and that’s trouble. I wanna be remembered for good songs, as a good husband, as a good dad eventually. Everything else? I don’t know.”

Is Maren Morris “Too Much” for Country Music?

Is Maren Morris “Too Much” for Country Music?

She’s ruffling a lot of feathers these days!

Maren Morris tells GQ magazine that she doesn’t understand why people think she is rebellious. “I kind of look back at the history of the women I’ve looked up to in country music and I think to myself, like, is what I’m doing that rebellious? Because I look at Shania Twain, and how she would play with sounds and genres, and they were huge. And what she would wear on stage. I mean, she was vilified even then for looking “too pop.” But that was like 20 years ago. The adage is always, “Oh it used to be so wholesome.” I’m like, have you seen what Dolly used to wear? … And then I think about the Dixie Chicks, and “Goodbye Earl”, where they killed a guy in a song, but it was funny … things like that, those were really pushing the envelope.”

What do you think?  Is Maren “too much” for country music these days?
