November 8, 2019 – Today, the Macon County Emergency Management Agency will be retesting all county outdoor warning sirens at 10am. The Macon County EMA says this retest is due to technical difficulties experienced during the regularly scheduled test this past Tuesday. A Macon County Emergency Alert and Notification System Alert will be sent to all subscribers and landline phone systems. The Macon County EMA says they will not be retesting the City of Decatur sirens. The testing is normally done at 10am the first Tuesday of every month.
