Julia Roundtree Livingston is the Executive Director of Macon County CASA. She previously served as the Director of Development for Macon County CASA since August 2017. In the same development role, Julia worked at Baby TALK, Inc. in Decatur, IL from 2015-2017. Prior to her work in the non-profit sector, Julia taught English, Literature, and Humanities at Southern Illinois University (Carbondale, IL), Florida State University (Tallahassee, FL), Richland Community College (Decatur, IL) and the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (Urbana, IL).
While in college, Julia was a Division I two-sport athlete at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale where she lettered for four years in cross country and indoor/outdoor track. As a college athlete, Julia was involved in many parts of the business within athletics including a Student Athletic Advisory Board member for both SIUC and for the Missouri Valley Conference, a Fellowship of Christian Athletes officer, and
Julia loves being an impactful member of the Macon County community as well. She is the secretary of the Forsyth Public Library Commission and the secretary of Maroa-Forsyth Community Club. She has also been the project coordinator for 9 years for the Judy Mason Thanksgiving Basket Project which provides boxes of food to 4,000 families in Macon County during the week of Thanksgiving each year. She resides in Forsyth, IL with her husband, Stan, Supplier Collaboration Engineer at Caterpillar, Inc., and their 3 children (Joella-13, Stanford III-7, and Silas-5).
