August 13, 2019 – Heritage Behavioral Health Center has facilitated several Mental Health First Aid Trainings over the last year and has a new course available to the public. One in five Americans has a mental health condition, but many are reluctant to seek help or might not know where to turn for care. Unlike physical conditions, symptoms of mental health and substance use concern can be difficult to detect. Heritage Behavioral Health Center is offering a Youth Mental Health First Aid Course on August 22nd and Adult Mental Health Course on September 6th. The training is free and limited slots are available. Contact JSmiley@Heritagenet.org for more information.
