READ: Hamburger and Hot Dog Buns Recalled

July 10th, 2019 – Hamburger and hot dog buns made by Flower Foods have been voluntarily recalled due to small pieces of hard plastic being found in their production equipment.

Affected products are labeled and sold under 7-Eleven, Bravo, Clover Valley, Family Style, Flowers, Food Depot, Great Value, Grissom’s Mill, Hitchcock’s, Home Pride, Ideal, Ingles, Laura Lynn, L’Oven Fresh, Market Pantry, Members Mark, Natural Grain, Nature’s Own, Oven Fresh, Piggly Wiggly, Publix, SE Grocers, Sedano’s, Sunbeam, WM and Wonder brands.

The products were distributed to retailers in several states, including Illinois, and all have a “best by date” between July 17th-19th.

The company said the product can be returned to place of purchase for a refund, and that consumers with additional questions should contact Flowers’ Consumer Relations Center at 1-866-245-8921
