Judge A.G. Webber To Retire After Current Term

May 21, 2019 – Macon County Presiding Circuit Judge A.G. Webber announced he will not seek retention when his current term ends in December of 2020. Webber was first appointed in 2001 to fill the seat of a retiring judge. He was elected to office in 2002 and retained in 2008 and 2014. Webber currently presides over probate, civil lawsuits and ordinance violations. Judge Jeffrey Geisler has expressed interest in running for Webber’s seat.
