Permanent Road Closure for Campus Construction

January 13 – One block of a downtown street will be closed permanently Monday to make way for the Community Care Campus.

The city announced the stretch of North Warren Street between Marietta and King streets will be shut down at 7 a.m.

The Howard G. Buffett Foundation announced a $30 million commitment to create the 17-acre Community Care Campus last summer.

The Romano Company has started construction on a 31,000-square-foot detox and residential building and a 17,000-square-foot transitional housing facility, both expected to open later this year.
