Police seize crack cocaine, money, during narcotics raid

DECATUR– A Decatur Police Department raid on Thursday led to police confiscating 11 grams of crack cocaine and over $1,000 in US currency.

 

Police Lieutenant Shannon Gutierrez Seal said via press release that the raid was executed at a residence located in the 2400 block of East North Street on Thursday.

 

As a result, Seal says the $1,063 in currency was recovered as were 11.4 grams of crack cocaine valued at just over $1140.

 

Police say a 27 year old man was booked in to the Macon County Jail on charges of manufacturing/delivery of cocaine between 1 and 15 grams as well as possession of a controlled substance.
